Ruby Halo Cage Jhumkas

These are modern-traditional jhumkas for women who like one bold stone and clean lines. The stud is a single large ruby-red pear stone, faceted to catch light and surrounded by a scalloped halo of white stones. Beneath it, a short bar of white stones carries three gold-tone cage jhumkas on slim chains — two at the sides and one longer drop at the centre — each open dome finished with a ring of pearl drops, plus small pearl accents between them.

What makes this pair special

  • One hero stone. The large faceted ruby-red pear is the focal point — a cocktail-ring look translated into an earring.
  • A scalloped white stone halo. Two rows of white stones in a flower-like outline make the red stone look even bigger and brighter.
  • Cage jhumkas on chains. Open, lattice-style domes hang on fine chains, so they swing freely and feel lighter than solid bells.
  • Staggered lengths. The centre jhumka hangs lower than the side two, forming a neat triangle below the stud.

Styling tips

  • Receptions, cocktail evenings and festive parties — the faceted red stone and white halo shine under evening lights.
  • Saree and outfit colours: black, white, ivory, navy, emerald, gold tissue and red outfits all work; a black saree with these ruby earrings is a striking evening combination.
  • Indo-western friendly. The clean, modern lines suit a gown, a cape-style lehenga or a dhoti-pant set as well as a saree.
  • Keep the neck simple — a slim chain or a ruby pendant — so the single ruby stone stays the statement.
  • Hair: sleek and pulled back, or in soft waves tucked behind the ears.

Please note

This is premium imitation (fashion) jewellery. The red and white stones are decorative stones — they are not rubies or diamonds, and are not sold as such. The pearls are pearl beads, not cultured or natural pearls. This is a standard finish, not an anti-tarnish or specially coated piece.

Caring for it

  • Put jewellery on last — after makeup, perfume and hairspray have fully dried — and take it off before bathing, exercise, swimming or sleeping.
  • Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear, taking care around the chains that hold the jhumkas.
  • Keep away from perfume, deodorant, creams, water, hot water, detergent, household chemicals and prolonged sweat. Do not wash or soak.
  • Store flat in an airtight box so the chains do not tangle or kink.

Frequently asked questions

What are cage jhumkas?
Cage jhumkas have open, lattice-style domes instead of solid bells. They look intricate, let light through and swing more freely, especially when hung on chains like the Ruby Halo Cage Jhumkas.

Can I wear these jhumkas with a western or Indo-western outfit?
Yes. The single ruby stone and clean lines suit gowns, cape lehengas and fusion outfits as well as sarees.

What colour outfit suits ruby red earrings?
Black, white, ivory, navy, emerald and gold outfits make ruby red stand out. A red outfit creates a rich tone-on-tone look.

Are these good for a reception?
Yes. The faceted stone and white halo sparkle under evening lighting, making them a great reception and party choice.

Should I wear a necklace with these?
Keep it simple — a slim chain or a small pendant — so the large ruby-red stone stays the focal point.

Is the red stone a real ruby?
No. It is a decorative stone and is not sold as a ruby. The white stones are not diamonds. This is premium imitation jewellery.

Are the pearls real?
No. They are pearl beads, not cultured or natural pearls.

Is this jewellery anti-tarnish?
No. This is a standard gold-tone finish, not an anti-tarnish or specially coated piece. Wiping it dry after each wear and keeping it away from perfume and sweat helps preserve the finish.
